    GRASS ROOTS FLY-IN

    LEETON, NSW  22-23 AUGUST 2026

The Grass Roots Fly-in is on again at the beautiful Leeton Airfield (YLEE) in central NSW.

After lots of hard work by the Leeton Aviators Group we have a bright green airfield with smooth runways and parking areas, free of dust and bindii-eyes, ready to welcome us!

This is a back-to-basics event where everyone is encouraged to camp under wing, fly until sunset, enjoy a meal on the airfield, and swap tales by the camp fire.  Remember to bring your tents and camp chairs!

Toilet and shower facilities are available at the Leeton Aviators Club along with meals and drinks.

There is much to see in the historic Leeton township and a bus service will be available between the airfield and town.  Bus tickets will be available at the aero club bar.

On Sunday morning we will be joined at the airfield by the Ford Customline Car Club.
