The Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia (AAAA)The Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia (AAAA) is a growing and diverse organisation of members from a broad range of backgrounds, who all have one thing in common – a passion for aviation. Formed in 1974 by a group of aircraft owners and enthusiasts the AAAA filled the need for an Association to represent the interests of owners of old aeroplanes at a time when aircraft were being exported or forced out of the air by heavy Government charges. NewsQLD Toy Run cancelledThe Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's QLD Toy Run has been cancelled for 2011. Scheduled for Sunday 27 November at Caboolture airfield, local organisational difficulties have meant that there's no choice but to cancel for this year. If you were planning to attend, then I do encourage you to still support a charity and help make Christmas a little brighter for other families. The QLD Toy Run will be held again in 2012 and we look forward to your continued support then. (Read more...) RAG & TUBERag & Tube is the magazine of the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia and has been in production since it started as a newsletter some 30 years ago. It comes out 4 times a year in March, June, September and December and is only available through membership, it cannot be purchased on news stands.
