This year’s National Fly-In at Temora was an

outstanding success. Despite a forecast of

inclement weather, many people made the

trip even if they weren’t so lucky with their

return trips home. Despite this, it was a fantastic

turnout with around 160 aircraft visiting over the

weekend. This would not happen without all

the hard work put in by so many people, so to

everyone involved I say thank you.

RESERVE CHAMPION:

Ian Silvester’s Harvard (VH-LNT).

BEN BOURKE AWARD

Clinton Ashton-Martin’s Avro Cadet (VH-AGH).

PRESIDENT’S CHOICE:

Doug Hamilton’s Lockheed 12A (VH-HID).

BEST BIPLANE:

Michael Worthington’s Tiger Moth (VH-MJW).

BEST EX-MILITARY:

Allan Arthur’s P-40 Kittyhawk (VH-ZOC).

LONGEST DISTANCE:

John and Cheryl Jackson’s C180 (VH-WIT) from

Howard in Queensland – 610 nm.

MOST INTERESTING ARRIVAL:

Rob Scott in Auster (VH-KAL).

LADIES CHOICE AWARD:

Mark McLachlan’s Tiger Moth (VH-JME).

BEST MONOPLANE:

Ray Van-Schaik’s Luscombe (24-5184).

RG CAREY AWARD

(For Best Restoration At A First Appearance):

Bob Elder’s Auster J8L (VH-RIE).
