*** IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING 2020 NATIONAL FLY-IN ***

Location and Date Changes for 2020 National Fly-in:

The Antiquers have had a long history of events at Echuca with the National Fly-in being held there every year for the last 4 years and every other year prior to that for a few years with our combined airshow. The Echuca Aero Club have always been very supportive and the town is a great attraction, unfortunately despite some small improvements by an individual this year, the Council have continued to neglect the airfield and the state of the taxiways, parking areas and cross strip continue to deteriorate through a combination of drought and continuing lack of investment.

These broader investment issues combined with constraints of limited taxiways, single runway and the very poor condition of an ever reducing parking area, contribute significant safety issues, risks and uncertainty to the planning and execution of an event of this size. As a result the Committee in consultation with the Echuca Aero Club have decided to move the 2020 National Fly-in to Wangaratta and have also changed the date to the weekend of 27-29 March 2020.

The Antiquers haven’t been to Wangaratta for an event for over 10 years and we will be well supported by local members and the airfield layout, condition and facilities will make the planning and execution of the event a great deal easier and lower risk.

In addition to changing the date and the location, we're also planning some other changes to the event which we hope will be well received by our members and guests. Stay tuned for more details as planning continues!
